Thanks to a recent update from Adobe, there are several new features in Photoshop CC for iPad. As of yet, only the desktop version has had access to the smudge and sponge tools.
Blending colours into photos is possible with Smudge, and Adobe claims the tool will enable users to “paint” in the actual world. It also has a feature that simulates smearing wet paint with a finger. The Sponge tool can be used to make a picture more or less saturated or desaturated to get the right colour tones. The Adjustments tool icon allows users to play around with both tools. The Apple Pencil may also be used with the Photoshop programme, according to Adobe.
